Teachers rights are extremely important to teachers. These rights range from certain freedoms, prohibition against certain forms of discrimination, and significant protections against dismissal (Bieger article). There are a number of ways that these rights are formed. All of these rights are formed from state and federal constitutional provisions, state and federal statutes, and federal regulations. All of these rights are beneficial to the teachers, but can cause controversy as well that may ultimately lead to strikes. Becoming a teacher requires other certifications and laws, that are important to understand and know when becoming a teacher. Constitutional provisions protect teachers at public schools that are not able to teach at private schools. Some of the rights that these teachers obtain are due process rights, which involve a notice of termination and a right to hearing in certain circumstances. They also have freedom of expression and association. Other rights under the cons titutional provisions include academic freedom and protection against unreasonable searches and seizures by school officials of a teacher’s personal property. I believe that these are beneficial for a teacher to obtain because they are able to voice their opinion, and be protected at the same time. The teachers’ rights are all derived from The Bill of Rights, First Amendment, and Fourth Amendment, so this was not surprising to me that we have these rights as teachers. The mean value of the variable Minutes on weight machine was found to be 22.95 minutes and the standard deviation was found to be 15.9876 minutes. It can be interpreted that the average time spent by the samples on the weights in gym is 22.95 minutes (Erfle and Gamble 2015). The value of standard deviation shows that the value of the variable deviates moderately from the mean value of the variable. The hypothesis of the test is given below: H0: The slope is not different to zero H1: the slope is different to zero ANOVA test had been performed at 5% level of significance and the p value of the test was found to be 0.020114934. This value is less than 0.05 and it shows that the test is significant. This shows that the null hypothesis is rejected and the slope of the equation of these two variables is different to zero. Managerial advice It is seen that the normal BMI of an individual lies in the range of 18.5 to 25 kg/m2. People having their BMI above this range is said to be either overweight or obese. It is proposed that the management of gym must differentiate their customers having BMI above 25 kg/m2 and below it. They must arrange a minimum time for the person who had BMI above 25 kg/m2. This would help the people having higher BMI to increase their time in weights machines in gym. This would help them to reduce their BMI and have a fit and healthy body. Analysis of the data in context of proposed change The 95% confidence interval for the proportion of customers whose BMI is greater than 25 kg/m2 was found to be (0.5248, 0.7151). The lower limit of proportion of customers whose BMI is greater than 25 kg/m2 was 0.5248 and the upper limit of proportion of customers whose BMI is greater than 25 kg/m2 was 0.7151 (Marques et al. 2016). The production I chose to critique for this paper was the Broadway show,â€Å"Rent†. â€Å"Rent† is a play about a group of young adults living their lives in New York City, and the obstacles they encounter. He is seen several times throughout the show, alone in the apartment, practicing and perfecting his song. His objective slightly changes when he meets another tenant of his apartment by the name of MiMi. He almost immediately falls in love with her, which gives him a new objective of trying to get her to be with him. The best scenes I can remember where Roger expressed his objective the best were the few scenes where Roger is seen working on his song. Basically Roger sits mid-stage with the spot light on him practicing his song. With his gu itar in hand and a soft sinceer voice, he almost pleeds to God to help him finish his song. As he strums on his guitar he sings a song about leaving something behind when he dies, meaning his song. Mark is an ametur filmest, with high hopes for his carrer. He used to date Maureen, another main character, and their relationship toward one another is one of the many sub-plots to the show. The first chacter I chose to concentrate on is Roger, who in my opinion is the most intriguing character in the show. Like I mentioned earlier Roger has A.I.D.S., and is very depressed. Roger spends most of his time playing his guitar in his apartment; due to his illness he is unmotivated to leave his home. He knows his time left on this earth is limited, and his main objective throughout the show is to write a song that he will be remembered by. He is seen several times throughout the show, alone in the apartment, practicing and perfecting his song. His objective slightly changes when he meets another tenant of his apartment by the name of MiMi. He almost immediately falls in love with her, which gives him a new objective of trying to get her to be with him. The best scenes I can remember where Roger expressed his objective the best were the few scenes where Roger is seen working on his song. Basically Roger sits mid-stage with the spot light on him practicing his song. With his gu itar in hand and a soft sinceer voice, he almost pleeds to God to help him finish his song. As he strums on his guitar he sings a song about leaving something behind when he dies, meaning his song. Reading response - Essay Example In my opinion, the text reveals a number interesting religious notions that were commonplace at that time in the society. The text reveals that the established religious norms of the society were close or similar to the protestant faith. It was for this reason that Mrs. Hutchinson was repeatedly asked about this aspect. As was common in most of the older societies, opposing or questioning religious beliefs was not an option for the ordinary people. The religion appears to be the property of Church or the ruling class and it was molded as and when needed. I strongly feel that Mrs. Hutchinson’s stand against the status quo was itself sufficient to stand apart; since no one in the society was willing to accept or talk about the reality.
